MinuteFlip Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the MinuteFlip Chrome extension, the minuteflip.com website, and MinuteFlip subscriptions. By installing the extension or using the service, you agree to them.
The short version
- MinuteFlip is an informational tool. It estimates market prices from real eBay sold data, but no estimate is a guarantee.
- Buying decisions are yours. Always do your own due diligence before purchasing anything: inspect photos, check the seller, verify authenticity.
- We are not affiliated with eBay and take no commission on anything you buy.
- Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
What MinuteFlip is (and is not)
MinuteFlip analyzes eBay watch listings against recent completed sales and shows estimates: an average of comparable sold prices, a deal indicator, and the underlying sales used. These are estimates produced by automated systems, including AI models that read listing titles and photos. They can be wrong. A listing may be misidentified, a comparable sale may not truly be comparable, and market prices move. Where the system is not confident, it says so, but a confident-looking number can still be mistaken.
MinuteFlip is not an appraisal service, not an authentication service, and not financial, investment, or purchasing advice. A "Great Deal" indicator is a statistical comparison against past sales, not a promise about a specific watch's value, authenticity, or condition.
Your purchases are your own
You alone decide what to buy, bid on, or sell, and on what terms. Any transaction you enter is between you and the seller on eBay, under eBay's terms. MinuteFlip is not a party to those transactions and accepts no responsibility for them, including items that turn out to be counterfeit, damaged, misdescribed, or worth less than an estimate suggested. Always do your own due diligence before buying.
Accounts and fair use
A free trial allowance is included without an account. Signing in with your email links your plan and history to your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Fair-use limits apply: each plan includes a monthly number of listing checks, and automated scraping, resale of the service's output, reverse engineering, or circumventing usage limits is not permitted.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. You can cancel any time from the extension's Manage Subscription option; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew after that. Unused checks do not roll over. If a billing error occurs on our side, contact support@minuteflip.com and we will make it right.
Availability and changes
We work to keep MinuteFlip fast, accurate, and available, and we ship improvements continuously, which means features, estimates, and interfaces change over time. The service depends on third-party data sources and may be interrupted, rate-limited, or modified. Checks that fail due to service problems are not counted against your quota.
Intellectual property
MinuteFlip's software, design, brand, and analysis systems are our property. eBay is a trademark of eBay Inc.; watch brand names belong to their respective owners and appear only to identify listings.
Disclaimer of warranties
MinuteFlip is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinuteFlip and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost savings, arising from your use of the service, including purchase decisions informed by its estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
